And they’ll stay crunchy even if left in the Amazon for 25 years.

Pepsico, which now owns Quaker Oats, has decided to stop actively marketing Cap’n Crunch this past week. You will still be able to get it in your local supermarket, but there will no longer be ads for it during your Saturday morning cartoons.

My family was sent a box of the stuff to evaluate and test. The original formula stuck to your teeth so badly you couldn’t get it off with dynamite!

I never liked it. Tried it a couple of times but wound up taking the box outside and dumping it for the birds or raccoons or who or whatever might find it to their liking.
I never understood why anyone would feed it to their kids.
But tastes vary. I’m sure that there are those who found it delicious and thought it a healthy food for all.
