LOL - Liked that snow sculpture better than Haggar the Horrible!
This one’s even better, Red. Good bye, Red Barron!
Score one for the good guys
Curse you, Red Baron!
And it coincided with the day after the Peanuts last daily strip (1/3/00). This is Snoopy’s dream come true. :-)
Way to go!
I love it!
OK, so a lot of us miss Peanuts. But it’s been clutterining up the newspapers for 10 years, denying the space to living cartoons while brilliant strips like Citizen Dog and Big Top die off. No doubt it will always be online, but it’s time to put it to bed.
Snoopy is the canine version of Harpo Marx.
I hope someone takes a picture of that before it melts!!!
You’re right, pschear, there are more repeats in some newspapers than should be. Online is the right place for them. But big wigs at the papers and the comics syndicates are afraid to give new talent any chance.
Even after Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes were done with original run strips, I was still glad to see my paper running the classic strips. I couldn’t say that about some of the other strips in my paper.
Hey everyone, I’m new here, but I would just like to say I really enjoy the comments. Some really have me LOL! Also this is a great comic strip and I really enjoy it everyday.
I guess that I can see both sides of this argument. I love some of the old strips and continue to read them, but it is tough enough for talented cartoonists to make their way into newspapers and to reach the masses without having to compete with a cartoonist, who in this case, is not still living. I love this tribute by the way.
…eighty men tried
to end that spree
of the bloody red baron
This really cracked me up! :)
Love it - thanks, Brian!
Best Red and Rover ever! By the way, it looks like the Red Baron is having a Blue Christmas even though it’s a White Christmas, AND with all these dogs running around I hope there isn’t any yellow snow……….
Now what will Snoopy do for a fantasy life?
Then again maybe the Baron bailed in time. And will be back in the air tomorrow.

That Red Baron never learns! Don’t F with Snoppy !!!
Yeah!!! Snoopy!!! Great snow sculpture Red and Rover!!!
If Brian was a pro baseball pitcher he
would get a award for pitching a
perfect game!…good stuff indeed..
He challenged the German to a real dog fight.
While the Baron was laughing he got him in his sights.
Very nice collection, runar. Thanks!
Snoopy finally got the Red Baron! Way to go!!
