    My dad was a dentist, and one year he gave out toothbrushes. I was mortified.

    haha, FrightenUp, that’s hilarious. There was a guy in my neighborhood that would give you shriveled carrots from his garden if you were over 12.

    There is no law that anyone has to celebrate Halloween nor even give treats to children begging for treats.

    While one shouldn’t give anything harmful to a child, there certainly isn’t anything wrong with a dentist giving out free toothbrushes.

    How about sugar-free candy? Dentists can give those out! (I remember in “Harry Potter”, that Hermione sent Harry a box of sugar free snacks for the birthday, as her parents were dentists.)

    Good thing Red thought ahead, by the way, or he would have gotten very disappointed.
