Actually, that’s not a bad idea. I’d never think of using it. I mean, who, in their right mind, is going to use PASSWORD as a password? It’s so ludicrous, it just might work. No hacker would ever think of it.

Nope. No hacker is as smart as you, genius.

    From Spaceballs, The Movie:
[King Roland has given in to Dark Helmet’s threats, and is telling him the combination to the “air shield”]

    Roland: One.

    Dark Helmet: One.

    Colonel Sandurz: One.

    Roland: Two.

    Dark Helmet: Two.

    Colonel Sandurz: Two.

    Roland: Three.

    Dark Helmet: Three.

    Colonel Sandurz: Three.

    Roland: Four.

    Dark Helmet: Four.

    Colonel Sandurz: Four.

    Roland: Five.

    Dark Helmet: Five.

    Colonel Sandurz: Five.

Dark Helmet: So the combination is… one, two, three, four, five? That’s the stupidest combination I’ve ever heard in my life! That’s the kind of thing an idiot would have on his luggage!

    @JohnnyDiego

I never used it, dumb bunny, I just said it wasn’t a bad idea. I never actually thought about it until now; but, if you think about it, it’s rather original. I’ve used the same passwords for 17 years and never been hacked; but, then, I don’t have anything to hack. I suppose if I had something worth hacking, I’d worry about it; but when you’ve got nothing, you’ve got nothing to lose.

I often used a word like password for a password. Actually it was password, but I changed the “a” to an “i.”

One thing to do is use the same password for everything, less to remember. But make it something you have no connection to, so nobody could figure it out. A hacker would probably try ‘SECTOR 7G’ for me, it isn’t my password. they might try other Simpsons related words. Or something related to Ishpeming, or Major League Human Cannonball…No luck. I probably use a term from something I have no interest in.
