   Good man. My sentiments exactly. Europe can have their blasted soccer. I don’t like any game where you can’t use your hands.

   I had to laugh at his sarcasm. And hers.
   But other ‘footballers’ do use theirs hands: the goal keeper can grab the ball, and the others use their hands quite often when they ‘wrestle’ to get at the ball. Of course fouls or penalties in both sports include ‘illegal use of the hands.’ Ha.

    gmartin997: Yes, but it is still the use of the hands by a player other than goaltender. You could also claim that the player is out of bounds at the time.
