Dogs, bosses, garden slugs, who sits next to who at Thanksgiving, cheating at golf, fretting the night away, carping couples on long trips, eating over the sink, toenail clippings, cosmic order, hairballs, flop sweat, coughing into one’s elbow, clogged pipes, clogged arteries, parking crooked at the mall.
That’s what real life is all about. And that’s what Real Life Adventures is all about.
For nearly two decades, Lance (Aldrich) and Gary (Wise) have drawn, and drawn from, the everyday stuff that we all slog through.
And on any given day, they like to think their little square slice of life is a nice change from the rickety roller coaster the rest of the world seems to be.
Want to share your life’s goofiosity with them? Just post here.

He’s right, that pattern looks like it has hands everywhere.

He’s also right about how it feels to be standing there! I’ve always thought if the stores wanted to make men more comfortable waiting for their wives at the changing rooms, they should put easy chairs with magazines and maybe a TV next to the changing rooms.

I thought it would be more fun if the dressing rooms were a little bigger and we could go in and help them change.

I’ve always thought sport shops, hardware stores and bars should be in malls. If you wanted to get the wife out quick, strip bars

I always bring a book and find the shoe department which usually has chairs or at least a bench. On a normal shopping expedition, somebody seeing me will stop and say “I should have thought of that” or “That’s what my husband should do.”

I always go in the changing room with my girl…she knows I don’t mind flirting with the salesgirls, so it’s a win-win either way!

cdward, I’ve seen ladies’ clothing stores that do that. Sport magazines, car magazines, but no playboys….lol
