Real Life Adventures by Gary Wise and Lance Aldrich for February 20, 2000
Transcript:
Man: See? If we buy one of those $1000 digital cameras, we won't actually shoot film - we'll just store images in the camera, then download directly to the computer, and then we can set up our own webpage with all our pictures on it. Woman: And then, instead of just boring our closest friends with our snapshots, we can do it on a global scale . Man: You just don't understand the importance of technology , do you? Necessity is no longer the mother of invention.
A drawer full of hard copy photos will last longer than whatever technology he puts his pictures on.
