Wow. The ebola virus is running rampant through African nations with 2016 reported cases and 1050 deathts; ISIS is rapidly becoming the most ferocious terrorist organization on the planet, killing by beheading in such a way not seen before; in the most recent FBI statistics, 48 police officers were killed in the line of duty (44 by firearms); The Wounded Warrior Project is trying to raise $30 million dollars to help 250 of the most seriously wounded returning veterans; 270 people have been killed in Chicago since January 1, 2014 with 643 more injured (the highest number ever recorded since Chicago police have been keeping records)…….. but what causes angst and worry among the “pro” commenters here?

The inability to log on to the Go Comics web site to see what’s new in the lives of fictional comic strip characters.

Just curious. What color is the sky in your world?

I read this comics page occasionally, and one of the things I’ve noticed are the level and intensity of the comments.
You folks know this is a comic strip, right?
I mean these characters are not real. They live only in the mind of the strip creator. You understand that, right? Commenting (as one of the “PRO” members does,
to the tune of 15,579 comments over a 16 month period, which roughly equates to 31 comments a day) on the make believe lives of these characters begs the question: Do you have a real life of your own? Does your daily life consist of sitting at a keyboard and offering opinions on who every character is and what they may or may not be doing/feeling/meaning?
And if it does, how very sad. Do something productive. Volunteer at a food bank or a hospital or a school.
Campaign against domestic violence or child abuse or work for MADD. Coach a little league team. Hell, be a greeter at Wal-Mart for that matter. If you wake in the morning and the best part of your day is commenting on what Luann and her cast of imaginary characters are doing/wearing/thinking, what an exciting life you must lead.

You should have quit at “…It’s just a comic…”

It’s Jan 3rd. Why is Santa and his sleigh still around in P1?

I wonder how he got the snow barrel on the tank to not break off and fall

Either that or his head is on a swivel.

P3. How did he get his feet to go in the opposite direction of the rest of his body. Looks like that would hurt.

In New England, Shaws supermarkets carried Tasty Kake products and I got addicted to the chocolate lover’s cupcake. They stopped carrying it when Tasty Kake changed their shipping methods and would only deliver them frozen. Evidently, shipping them fresh was too costly. Shaws stopped carrying them for over a year. I just noticed they are back on the shelves, but I don’t know if they are fresh or frozen

Blah, Blah, Blah…..Let’s see Fritzi in a uniform

I can’t understand why everyone but Fritzi is drawn like a cartoon character. Would Fritzi really be attracted to a guy who’s head looks like a helium filled balloon?… and if they haven’t spoken in 20 years, how did he know she adopted Nancy?
