Either this comment is meant for another strip, or I’m completely missing the point.

Good catch. Was thinking the same thing. Why does he eat at all?

    No pun intended, I assume…

Actually, you need to see ‘Brandy’ in the “Liberty Meadows” strip.

A rather insightful observation on Peter’s part, don’t you think?

Yet even with the enhancements, he still lacks the complete facial definition Fritz possesses. His nose is still a round ball with no slope or definition; compare his mouth, eyes and even his hands to Fritz’s and you can see Fritz is the only character in the strip drawn with a true body form. Looks like Gilchrist has been reading from Frank Cho’s playbook. Fritz may not be Brandy, but he keeps trying.

Has anyone noticed the physical transformation in the Phil Fumble character Gilchrist has made over the past few years? He has grown taller; more muscular, and his facial features have changed to where he looks less like the one-dimensional balloon-face-with-eyes-Archie-character, to having more defined facial features that mimic those of Fritz. When the character was first re-introduced by Gilchrist in late 2012, he appeared to be a foot shorter than Fritz and lacked any real human body features, i.e., defined face; nose, ears, etc. He was drawn in a manner more closely to that of Nancy and Sluggo. I guess he figured a character drawn like Fritz would not be enamored by a pancake face with circles for ears.

yeah, I was wondering, too. At first thought the spots were some kind of printing error. I’m guessing when you have to wonder what the artist was trying to convey, he didn’t succeed.

If you think about it, she already has.

Why would a robot need a soft drink?
