    Been on a two week holiday (Croatia, highly recommended!) and wanted to update the measurements to a uniform style. Seemed the perfect opportunity. Back to the drawing board now!

    Gosh thanks DewSolo! You’ve certainly been very thorough for me!! Half and half is more or less the same as single cream, I believe.

    Not convinced shrimp would work…you could try a firm white fish like Monkfish or Hake…or wait until you get back to Goa!

    you can use frozen butter as a substitute but buying Atora dry packaged suet online (vegetable or original) would be best!

    for Demerara use light brown (raw) sugar and for Golden syrup you can use corn syrup or even honey…but you should be able to find Golden syrup in the US
