Great idea! I’d love to see Captain Stinkbug appear in Petey’s writings. Although to really fit Petey’s universe, he would have to do nothing and have no special powers. Other than stink, maybe. Maybe that’s how he keeps crime away. :-)
Speak for yourself – I love reading the text. One of my favorite parts of Richard’s strips is the clever writing (though I also dig the brilliant drawings, of course). Ernesto and his elaborate speeches crack me up.
Another brilliant entry, Richard! As funny as Alice and her preschooler buddies are, I have to admit that my favorite characters are the eight-year-olds. They are so delightfully eccentric. Love the comic book group. Awesome stuff!
I think Loris must use a time-turner, a la Hermione Granger in Harry Potter.
Yes, Richard is back for the daily strips, but the Sunday strips are still guest artists for a couple more weeks. Lincoln Peirce has done a fantastic job – he just nailed both the drawings and the characters. Awesome work!
Ha! Good one, finale!
Awesome to see the master back! I really enjoyed the guest cartoonists, but there’s no substitute for the real deal. Welcome back Richard! Cul de Sac is my favorite comic and my day wouldn’t be the same without it!
I’m confused – I thought Stephan Pastis was supposed to do next week’s strip. Anyone know if there was a change of plan? Of course I will be thrilled to have Richard back, but I was also looking forward to seeing Pastis’ take on the strip. Also, is today’s Sunday strip by a guest artist? It doesn’t look quite like Richard’s drawing to me, unless it’s some of his older work.
