Not Snoopy’s first thought bubble, but does look to be the first one of the Snoopy we know so well. Schulz did have one where either Patty or Violet had Snoopy thinking the dog catcher was coming for him and we saw Snoopy’s thoughts in a more visual form.

Technically he didn’t do anything wrong. Although we do tend to generalize the term ice cream cone to mean both the cone and the ice cream on it once we added the ice cream, the literal term is what Bo paid attention to. And clearly Bo wanted the top half of the cone.

Keep in mind, goat, that the culture you’re born into more determines which animals are more likely to be killed.

Technically I could probably go even more in depth. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Shermy, and Patty are all yin metal tigers since that particular year of the tiger the associated element was yin metal. Of course Charlie Brown actually was shown celebrating like his fourth or fifth birthday in December 1950, which would put him if he had aged normally as either a yin fire dog or a yin wood rooster. Of course their introductions were during the waning days of libra in the western zodiac, which puts them in the waning days of the rooster lunar month.

Hey, you snerked. I had to do that because of a snerk.

I happen to know for a fact that some butter knives can give paper cuts because I cut myself on one back when I was 12 or 13 in the late ‘80s. We’d inherited some older silverware from my grandmother which included butter knives that were only slightly thicker than heavy duty aluminum foil. Those things had a slight edge to they which I didn’t realize until I accidentally cut myself on one. Frigging paper cut, and I never expected to get a cut from a butter knife. Twice this year I’ve cut myself on heavy duty aluminum foil, again it’s paper cuts.

Used o make mayo sandwiches as a kid. They were great back then, mayo on two slices of bread and just a little salt for seasoning. NEVER ONCE folded the bread over for those. Or any sandwich. Tasted nasty folding over. Would rather cut a slice of bread in half, tastes way better.

Snoopy’s a tiger himself. 1950 was the year of the tiger and Snoopy was born in 1950. Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Shermy, Patty are all tigers. Violet and Schroder are rabbits. Lucy and Linus are dragons. Pig-Pen is a horse. Sally is a pig (ironic that Pig-Pen isn’t a pig). Fredia is an ox. Woodstock and Peppermint Patty are horses. Franklin I’m not going to say because it sounds like I’m being racist and I’m wishing he was introduced a year earlier or a year later now. Or maybe he was introduced somewhere between Jan. 1st and Jan. 29th of 1968. Marcie is a pig (just as ironic as Sally). And Rerun is an ox. At least that’s their Chinese zodiac signs based on when they were introduced. Since many of them aged a lot faster in the strip, trying to guess their actual zodiac sign ain’t something I want to try doing.

Very different from classic Lucy. Classic Lucy would have made Charlie Brown stand still so she could deck him for showing up while she was still in her pjs. Early Lucy is terrified of him seeing her in her pjs.

Correction, I didn’t know it was a seven course meal. Six plates in that last panel, but in the eating panels he has a bowl of cereal (clockwise from top left to bottom left it looks like a plate with a stack of four pancakes with syrup (based on the color hopefully real dark amber maple syrup and not pancake syrup) and butter, a plate with a stack of two waffles with strawberries, a bowl of some chocolaty cereal, a plate with an omelet of some kind, a plate with either toast or a thick slice of Swiss cheese, and a plate with two sunny side up eggs). No bowl in the last panel and no sixth plate in the middle panels so seven courses possible.
