That’s EXACTLY how I feel about her.

Chelle’s a hard-ass and Jane’s a klutz. That said, the alternatives for both of them have often been much worse.I always liked this scene.
Flashback within a flashback… somebody’s been watching “ENTER THE DRAGON”… :)
It’s so odd. Chelle may not even realize how good it is to have Jane around her. Look how relaxed she is, opening up that way. It’s a revlation.
Having read this in the reprint collections, I KNOW where this goes eventually… and good grief, is it one COMPLICATED, TWISTED mess!!
The more I read (or re-read) this series, the more fascinating I find the relationship between Jane & Chelle. While not really right for each other as lovers, they do seem to make good friends. I suspect a big part of it is that Chelle tends to be very suspicious / distrusting of many people, and realizes that whatever faults she might have, Jane is one person she can count on who would never deliberately do anything to hurt her.
Is anybody who’s posting comments today actually paying attention to the strip? It’s hard to tell from the comments.
“Olive. She came with the trailer.” That just seems to… weird to me.
Can you imagine? “Who’s the LION?” “Clarence. He came with the trailer.” “BUMP.” “He seems to be cross-eyed.” “Yeah, you get used to that after awhile.”
I wonder at this point what’s going on with Chelle. In yesterday’s episode, she seemed very relaxed, until Jane said something nice to her. Then her expression tightened up. I think she just finds it very hard to be relaxed around anybody. Probably comes from being around Jill too much.
That’s odd, I hadn’t noticed Jane was taller either, until yesterday, when they were standing next to each other.
I really don’t like it when people get “too close” like that.
I reccomend for anyone who’d like to “catch up” you check out Amazon.com, particularly the “Amazon Marketplace” stores, where the early books of this series can often be found for INSANE low prices. (That’s how I got mine!)
Sarge saying Jane looked like she was in drag is realy the pot calling the kettle black.
As for “Sandy”… a line from “Dr. Daka” comes to mind…
“Are you ready to coopoerate? Or would prefer to become one of my ZOMBIES?”
It just hit me, it might be even weirder if Skye suddenly turned up dressed like Chelle.
