And the teachers who are tech savvy know it and will search for the exact words, which can sink a student. . . I was told once that the dictionaries and encyclopedias or yesteryear purposely used distorted sentence forms so that a teacher would know when a child copied verbatim. It would be so different from the child’s diction that they could pin point copied material. Sadly, this did not work on me as I thought that the excessively formal mode of speech was what was expected when writing a report and would paraphrase to make it even more stilted and formal sounding. When a teacher tried to accuse me of plagiarism, my mom produced our reference books and dared the teacher to find the passage I’d “copied.” (She couldn’t of course.)

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

We do “appreciates” (something we’re thankful for) every day, too. And family is welcome, but in reality, without the work/school holiday we’d never be able to go see other family (3 hour drive min, 12-14 for the grands.)

The mis conception that the left overs will go bad in 3 days or less. I’ve never had a problem keeping it in the fridge for a week. And Sun’s dinner has always been a repeat of Thurs’s minus the carcass. But then maybe that’s the point, I don’t try to keep the whole carcass loosely wrapped in the fridge, I pull the meat off Thurs, put it in a sealed bag, (freeze the carcass to make soup) and stick just the meat in a properly cold fridge. Then when you go to have it again reheat it thoroughly.

windchill just means what it feels like on skin, so at 42 degrees, they wouldn’t be frozen. Even if the WCF was -20 (though they’d probably be dry by the time they hit you)

We have several non Walmart options, and use them, but in my experience, Walmart has more “made in the USA” stuff than Meijer (the store that Sam Walton patterned Walmart off of) or Target. Including clothes, which is way more than I can say for nearly every place in the mall to boot. / I still shop at Walmart about 4 times a year or less, but in fact they are LESS made in China than the “fancier” or more upscale alternatives.

I know I don’t do all the work, just most of it..(Just ask the kids who can go on a work trip with less stuff falling apart.)

I’m disgusted by the thought of eating the “bone” really, why shape it like that??
