The only question yet to be answered is who or what will awaken from the nightmare, ‘trip’, bonk on the head …. or whatever? Why am I envisioning a sudden lurch from ‘Fish’ who has been lying in a tiny puddle of water on the carpet? Is all this actually turning out to be the fish tale to end all fish tales? Only time and Paul will tell …..

Top o’ the afternoon to you, StelBel. One thing for sure, you’re certainly not lacking in imagination – love it!!

Perhaps the mailman is feeling a little more up to scratch than we think;)

The poor mailman’s ‘dogs’ are barking big-time.

Good point about the feet. Aside from looking as if it’s on backwards, the tilt of the head is very disconcerting. That handy guy Red Green could fix that up lickety-split with a bit of duct tape strategically placed here and there. Wonder if he’s in the area …..

Yes, a combo of bonk and splash. However, despite the generic mailman, I think Poncho’s location is supposed to be Canada where there is still plenty of snow and no water in which to splash about. In which case …. I’m seeing tiny orange outfits in Poncho and Husdon’s future.

Absolutely! Very well said!! Judging from his toes lovely pink hue, I think the mailman’s going to be all right, downward slide notwithstanding. The option of ‘springing ahead’ this weekend is about as good as it gets from this vantage point.

Admittedly this arc, although wonderful, is a little ‘off-the-wall’. Give Paul a break – winter fatigue – minus 50 windchill and 100 meter snowdrifts are enough to drive even the sanest a little ….well, you know. All will return to normal when Spring arrives …… in July!

In keeping with the storyline’s slightly Alice in Wonderland magic mushroom tone, perhaps the cat was suggesting Poncho and Hudson hop on the magic broom, fly their way to freedom … and offer a ride to the mailman while they’re at it … or not:)
