I believe this is referred to as a “navy shower”, done to conserve precious fresh water on a vessel at sea.

I do the same thing usually, but for safety reasons. I have balance issues, and running water does not help. I concur as regards the strange glances at the Y.

Bub worked for the city of Edmonton, until there were layoffs. He found work quickly though, being in a province with a relatively decent economy.

Ever notice the “error” in the scene where 3PO and R2 were left to themselves in the control room and the storm troopers come in. An overly tall trooper bangs his head on the door. I can’t believe Lucas didn’t cut it out!
That being said, still one of the best movies ever made.
