“Confusion is a great tool toward redemption.” Otherwise stated: Either leave ’em laughing, or leave ’em wondering what the hell you meant!

I get a kick out of the political people commenting in here sometimes. Like ideology is black and white anymore. One group puts down the other for doing exactly the same thing they are.

Politics exists for the simple reason that a country needs to have a way to get things done. It shouldn’t be about bashing my neighbor over the head with what I believe.

Scrap the party system. One citizen (and by this I mean an adult who contributes to his/her community and takes part in shaping his/her world) one vote. The representative should do just that, REPRESENT his/her constituents and not some “party line”.

This doesn’t just apply to the United States either. We of the Great White North (or used to be, until global warming kicked into high gear) should do the same.

I now relinquish the soap box for the next conservative, liberal, anarchist, socialist or idealist.

It might be worth considering getting Calvin a bike that isn’t taller than he is maybe?

That was just too cute. I bet young Owen is going to watch his Hobbes just a little bit closer now. I wonder what Watterson made of all of this.

They do, and thank heaven that they do. Otherwise they would swell to the size of the Houston Astrodome, and clutter the countryside leaving pellets the size of a microwave.

Trust Calvin with a knife, even for a moment? I don’t think so! We’ve seen what he does when left alone with the CAR.

I always thought the mail room was the IDEAL starting point. Everything passes through there, and you know what the company is REALLY all about.

    Welcome home, Hobbes!

By the time this scheme is in motion, Susie will have gone home and it will be past time for Calvin to get HIS homework done.

I REALLY want an old fashioned pocket watch. No batteries, just wind it up daily. Not to mention, they just plain look cool.
