Are you kidding, Stephan? Did you write this strip before the events of this week? We’re SUPPOSED to make fun of people because of their race, ethnicity, religion, politics, sexual orientation, gender, age, and disability. That’s what the best and brightest do now. It’s the New American Way.

I bought my daughter some sweatpants when she was around 7, and it wasn’t until we got home that I realized they had “Justice” written across the butt. We had a lot of fun with the “Butt of Justice” until she outgrew them.

Didn’t the wax dummy play Riker for the first season of ST:TNG? It’s so nice they could get the actual actor after that.

This is right on the money! My husband and I have often compared our experiences as nonconforming kids — for girls, the retribution is social, whereas for boys it’s physical. I always found the social stuff to be more insidious and long-lasting, but then again I never got slammed into any lockers, so I can’t really say which is worse.

It’s good that Phoebe and Max have each other (and Marigold).

“Government providing presents” is a pretty broad statement. This event sounds like a police department outreach function. One could imagine some positive payback from what’s probably a small investment in community relations at Christmas. I’ll bet that Philadelphia (and every other city) spends some of its tax money on less-worthy items.
