Why is this strip ripping off Calvin and Hobbes?

To me, it looks like Libby is a Bill Watterson fan.

That comment from bawana is truly ambiguous and pointless:
    Is it authentic US nationalism/exceptionalism?
Or is it parodying people who think that way?

A great example of Poe’s Law in action.

I doubt you really thought that Al Gore said we’d be dead by 2014, and you’re really just making a trolling bogus straw man argument.

But feel free to provide a quotation and source, if you really think that Al Gore said that.

I’m glad the graphical convention of using a wiggly lined panel for a scene change eventually disappeared.

It’s nice to know that Sedgewick has some sort of talent

That counter-proposal sounds like a good idea indeed.

Michael, it’s risky using such sarcasm indistinguishable from real statements uttered by some war supporters. Poe’s Law and all that… :)

Adding colour does absolutely no favour to these early strips.

You are too focused on the office of president as if the president wields all the power. I’m no Obama defender, but he is not a dictator; yes, he does evil illegal stuff (like his predecessors), but at core he’s a corporation-serving lackey, and in 2016 the next corporation-serving lackey will take over for him as usual.

Well, we’ll see in a couple of years.
