I believe that a little leeway may be given to a comic strip versus say C.S.I.. I don’t read the comics for dreary realism, I read them for a momentary escape from dreary reality.

That takes care of the long dangling plot thread over the email.

The Archie sub-thread…Life With Archie (A series set In Riverdales future and dealing with possibilities like what would life be like If married to Betty or Veronica? Both possiblities explored by the way) Is being cancelled. They chose Archies death as the final storyline.

After her Introduction here I ordered the first collected volume of Mary Perkins On Stage from Amazon. Read about half of It last night and am already budgeting for the rest of the volumes. A beautiful strip with good stories.

Back when I had my comic shop I stocked the Walt & Skeezix volumes (I only sold one copy of each…to myself). But since you ask, THIS Is coming up…http://www.amazon.com/Walt-Before-Skeezix/dp/1770461418/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1389711129&sr=1-4&keywords=gasoline+alley

I’m enjoying the ongoing nature of the story. Yet I’m the exact opposite when It comes to comic BOOKS. I yearn for the good old “done In one Issue” stories of my youth.
