Ah, Jack, it’s good to know you’re always paying attention.
Jamner, let me paraphrase. The point we’re trying to make is one of commitment. Eiseneyes and his people are not only feeling the onslaught of the Falling, but will suffer for it if they attempt to counter the system to fix it, i.e. challenge StormWing. Meanwhile, Thonk in his own self centered way, declares “we’re all behind you, so stop complaining.” Eiseneyes becomes livid for one simple reason: who the heck are “we?” when all I see are just two guys? Where is everyone? Where’s all the power you claim “we” have, the urgency of arms? What, was everyone else busy doing something more important than saving their own world? Of course, our tale is a metaphor for something just as important, but doesn’t Thonk’s bombastic point of view sound familiar? We, as human beings do a lot of talking, but drastic actions…? Often times, they’re hard to find until it’s too late. Remember, ours is a cautionary tale dipped in aspects of reality. REALITY, mind you, not psuedo science (I was saddened by that remark, frankly, but not completely surprised). Regardless, our clarion call remains… It takes many to save a world, but only one to make a difference. Sitting here at my drawing board, I’ve had to ask myself this question, too-What can I do as one, singular person to change the destructive course I find my world on? Me, one guy, what power do I have? Well, here’s your answer, and it’s amazingly simple:http://environment.about.com/od/globalwarming/tp/globalwarmtips.htm So, go, change this fragile, beautiful planet we occupy in 10 easy, very logical steps. Even if you don’t have the best intentions in mind for change, look at them this way… they’ll save you quite a bit of money (which you can donate to…okay, I’ll shut up).
You might start at the beginning of the scroll, again. It’s critical.
The feather is real, compliments of a rather generous Gyrfalcon. They’re very striking, these birds. You can check them out at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyrfalcon
I know, I know…April fools, right? Not exactly. Here’s something neither a good story, nor good artwork will change:
We hope everyone took out an hour today to give thought to the Earth and it’s ever growing climate change. www.earthhour.org
Thanks a bunch, and while we have you…
Welcome, everyone, to Spring!
No snubbing intended, oh wolf of the crooked nature!
If you love our story, we always encourage folks share it. It’s people like you, cubschick, that keep us going. So please, mention us on your facebook page, or around the water cooler, even with kids if you have them. We’d appreciate it!
Ahhh… How could you not love a rhinosmin?
