I am for keeping Squishy the family’s pet. The interaction with a baby could be interesting.

I guess the 12 volt portable inflater cost something? Would you put it at public disposal without charging a fee?

It sounds very clever that we pay for air, we don’t, we pay for using the pump, which the station paid for and will have to replace when broken.

There are people who are steady planets by nature and not fiery comets. They also use their time, just in a different way. I do hope Jack London was satisfied with what he achieved.

@csward: Indian Hindus might be very surprised that Namaste does NOT mean “I bow to the divine in you”. Maybe Christians use it in the narrower sense. Which HIndu would bow to another person, if it was not because of the divine in that person?
Christians say that they believe in resurrection, but many of them live as if they don’t believe in it. That may be the reason to use Namaste in another sense. But even Christians should not bow to other human beings, but only to God.
