I’ve had a barking alarm clock for the last fifteen years and I love it! It’s the only alarm clock I’ve never slept through.

I don’t have a lawn, I have green stuff I mow. I don’t feed it but I have to water and mow it in the summer because it’s a fire hazard if I don’t.

Even with a seat belt, the airbag will still kill your dog. If you can’t turn off the passenger airbag, he’ll be safer belted in the back seat. A good quality rigid pet carrier, secured with a seat belt or bungie cords is safer still.

I used to work in an ER — the first thing we used to do to injured people was to take a large pair of scissors and cut the clothing off . I still remember some of the heated discussions I had with seriously injured teen girls about the necessity of cutting off their designer jeans and very fancy underwear, while they were still strapped to a backboard.

“In the scenario you all are talking about, the guns involved were legally owned by the mother of the lunatic, who not only was unaware that her son was a certifiable nut-case, but left him access to her weapons.”

I believe you meant to say the mother (and many others) DID know this kid had serious mental issues. As you said, at the very least, the mother had a responsibility to have her weapons secured.

Yeah, prfesser, and in those states the workers make an average of $1500 less a year and 2.5% fewer workers have health care. Exactly what is it you’re cheering about?
