Why not just title this one “Breakfast Burrito”, since that’s what it is? Calling it “Mexican Breakfast-to-go” makes me think of a bag full of Huevos Rancheros. Besides, nearly every fast-food franchise has its own version of a breakfast burrito, so it would be even faster for you to pick one up on your way to work. I’d rather have simplified recipes for stuff I wouldn’t otherwise make, instead of things that it would be easier to buy than to make.

One of the lamest “jokes” ever, even for a cartoon that is based on lameness. Does he need to suck up to the boss that bad that he has to include someone the average reader has no clue about? Maybe it’s time to drop this one from my subscription. Also, could there be possible copyright infringement issues by depicting recognizable Calvin and Hobbes figures?

Are the two golfers supposed to be famous people? Thompson’s level of artistic talent has never been up to the challenge of depicting well-known faces. I assume the pun has to do with the identity of the players, but I haven’t got a clue on this one.

So it’s some guy named Hank Marvin, who is using his own name as rhyming slang for the fact that he’s hungry? Thank goodness for some of the comments here, because my Google-fu wasn’t strong enough to find that connection.

I should have just accepted it as a bit of British humor that I wasn’t going to understand, and gone on.

In between Huckleberry Hound and Nancy and Sluggo is a “Martian Popper Thing” (as the Archie McPhee catalog calls it). So, my list is: Stu Pickles, Patchy the Pirate, Gumby, “MPT”, Nancy, Sluggo, Ringo Starr, Roy, and Dagwood Bumstead, for a total of 9. I know I’m missing a couple, at least. That guy in the hat and trench coat next to Jughead could be either Columbo or Eddie Valiant.

Interesting that Thompson re-used the “P. J. Piehole’s” name from his ‘Cul de Sac’ strip. It featured in a story line a few weeks ago.

Never mind — I finally found the link at the top of the strip’s page.

How do I nominate someone for Biggest Sports Jerk of the Last 40 Years? I don’t do Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media, and the “TankMcNamara.com” just leads me here.

I logged in to say pretty much the same thing. I thought editors were supposed to catch errors like this.
