You just trolling or you genuinely believe that Andrew Jackson deserves his place on the $20?

That’s a great story. Is she ever going to tell them? They’ll wonder how she is allowed to stay in the U.S. after she completes her education. She can’t tell them she got a job because they’d just tell her that women aren’t allowed to work & try to make her come home. At that point, she’d have to cut off all contact with them.

A good parody of that inane & humourless comic.

No. Keep it long just to spite all the idiots who say that women should cut their hair after a certain age. If longer hair is truly more youthful, no-one should cut their hair as we all want to look younger.

There is a LOT wrong with bring Mrs. Anything, Cathy, you ninny. It signifies that you have gone from being your father’s property to your husband’s property.

My kids will have my last name. Period. I wouldn’t consider carrying on the patriarchal tradition of naming them as their father’s property.

As a single person, I don’t make enough money to pay all of my monthly bills so I juggle them, trying not to skip paying the same bill two months in a row. But sometimes I can’t even afford to do that.

I don’t really understand this. Why is he paying her bills? My husband & I each paid 50% of the rent & utilities, to the penny.

Any woman who takes her husband’s name is complicit in her own repression. The tradition signals that she is going from being her father’s property to being her husband’s property. Laws may have changed, people may argue that they are doing it for other reasons, but it’s all about the repression of women.
