I’m always confused when I see references to kids ordering things with their parents’ credit cards. I never would have ben allowed to do that. If I had done it w/o permission, I would have had no Xmas presents for a decade, among other punishments.

I don’t think this comic is fair. The clerk was incompetent & deserved to be made fun of. Ellie did nothing wrong so there is no reason for her to be given some sort of karmic lesson at the end.

I could never marry a PC user. I don’t think that level of fundamental incompatibility is bridgeable.

I agree his comment was repulsive but you should not flag it. Agreeing with a comment is not a requirement for it being posted. I disagree with him but his comment did not violate any posting rules. He has the right to express an opinion with which we disagree, however misguided & vile that opinion. It is better to know what your enemy is thinking than to try to censor him.

Typos in comics are inexcusable. It’s not that much to proofread.

Good for Elly! What a jerk that guy is. (I’d use a stronger word if the comments section allowed it.) I’d want to do the same thing she did but I’d be too afraid.

There are a few things people can say that are unforgivable. Alix just said one of them.

Don’t see the point of this cartoon. Swearing on the Bible never kept anybody from lying in court. Actually, fear that a lie detector test might work could induce some people to tell the truth, if it were used. But they aren’t ever used in court, afaik.
