Bribery — and the Air Car, back so soon? Keep the nostalga coming!

You are correct — MM did have siblings, and as far as I can recall, first names were never “revealed” to the readers…

I think for this particular story arc, B&W is fine — I’ve grown to like the color dailies…

Pretty simple — Bribery “recreated” MM, so that he could make an impression upon the Moon Governor, and perhaps gain access to some of that moon gold…

I’m certain Honeymoon recognizes Mumbles, too – as he played a prominent role in Tracy-lore during the Fletcher-Collins years, following the death of Moon Maid/Mysta Tracy…

The “buckets” were simply referred to as “Magnetic Air Cars”, which were everntually modified to include a windshield. By the early 70’s, those had been retired for the Diet Smith-designed “2-Man Air Car”, which was a true horizontal police vehicle…

Thinking the next step is to have Diet Smith’s remote control bring back the Space Coupe which was jettisoned into space, during its’ last appearance (we never saw the device being destroyed, did we?).

Been a while since I chimed-in (I have been following the story, though) — since the “space elements” were reintroduced by Staton/Curtis, we have seen the following hardware: A “police-issue” Space Coupe, stored in Diet Smith’s Moon Suite, along with a 1960’s era Air Car, and a 1970’s two-man Air Car. The Space Coupe which was prominently featured, afterwards (and disappeared in space with Dr. Ghote and company) was Diet Smith’s personal SC, named the “Sparkle Plenty”. Besides that, we know that a SC with the ability to carry 100 passengers (to/from Diet Smith’s former factory on the moon, which could possibly tie-in to our story) was featured in a storyline, long ago. DS may have destroyed the plans, but I’m willing to bet they are backed-up, somewhere. Only time will tell…
