In defense of Luann, it is a hard thing to have to keep hoping and waiting to spend time with a boyfriend. Even though you want him to focus on his life and you don’t want to get in his way, there is still that pain of a dashed hope every time he has to put something else ahead of time together.

Gosh, Gunther — “sup” is a word! Where do you think the word “supper” comes from?

In defense of “The Only One Sane Here”, he did say all the girls he knew, not all girls. There’s nothing sexist about it. He’s just talking from his experience.

As much as I dislike it when people write spoilers in the comments, I realize that there is the option of just reading the strip and skipping the comments entirely.

Considering that today’s strip was written about 10 years ago, it isn’t a totally offensive thing for people to write spoilers. (Though yeah, it is very annoying.)

Pretty sure that she’s just saying that in ~10 years Bernice would regret marrying that early.

Luann really fries me sometimes. My first car I bought with my own money, and paid the registration and insurance and maintenance. Luann is pretty spoiled if she thinks that her parents should pay for her car out of their own pockets. At least work out a plan where she pays part of the cost or something.

Now, now, Mr. Fogarty, that’s not being nice. What did Iceland ever do to you?

Wonder what happens to the person on Gunther’s left? Why is he looking to his right? And furthermore, why is Row 1 behind Bernice’s row? Ok, time to stop being critical. It’s just a comic.
