Funny. I misread it too. I read the first panel and said, “good, a poem.” When I got to the second panel and it didn’t rhyme I thought she was doing Avant Garde poetry. Then I figured it out.

A very old term. The term meat used to just mean “food” in general say the etymologists. Over time it was changed to just animal flesh.

If you are using lighter fluid on a grill you are wasting your time. Learn about charcoal chimneys. Quick, easy and no taste from lighter fluids. Probably less dangerous as you don’t have to store another flammable liquid in your house.

Wow. That is amazing. The strip is behind just enough so that the two holidays sync up. I feel like I won the lottery. I love coincidences.

I haven’t used one since we could book our own travel online, but I used to love going into a travel agency to plan trips. Especially when the destination wasn’t already decided.

I bet those are ink smudges. It is a homage to Charlie Brown. He is featured in a lot of early strips writing to his Pen Pal. A thing that no longer exists. And the smudges also recall the days before ball point pens were common and we had to deal with ink.

I guess it must be asked, why only one head? I know that there are many stories and no consensus on how many heads, but commonly a multi-headed guy.

Not complaining, that is just the way it is in Mythtickledom. I do like his color.

Come on now. Why choose one or the other. Why not both? That’s what I do. I use e-books for most normal reading. Like any of the series I follow. I get paperbacks when I go to the stores, both new and used. They are most often unplanned. It catches my interest as I walk the shelves. And I get high quality hard covers for my favorites and other specials. I love that my office has 3 walls with book shelves.

But each to their own I guess.

For the benefit of the Tyson, and other chicken companies.
