    No, I only color the Sundays. Actually, the number of people who see the strips before they appear online or in newspapers is at least three: me, my editor, and the colorist. There’s probably also a webmaster responsible for uploading them to the website, so that makes four.

    I feel uniquely qualified to comment on this situation, and I will say this unequivocally: Nate and Gina despise one another, and I will never create a romance between them. Never.

    This is sort of a family joke. When our daughter was little, she insisted on listening to Junie B. Jones books on tape during an 8 hour drive to Canada. Her headphones stopped working after the first hour, so we ALL listened to Junie B. Jones. By the time we reached the border, I was ready to drive the car off a cliff.

    And the composite bats that are used in youth league and high school games are even more dangerous. The ball travels even faster off a composite bat than a wood one. Less time for a pitcher to get out of the way.
