Why say “Turning nouns into verbs” when you can say “verbing nouns” !

To answer cdward’s quibble I have a thought – when Jesus appeared again after rising from the dead he still had the scars in his hands despite being in his resurrected body (he showed them to ‘doubting’ Thomas). So, perhaps wearing the uniform is suitably fitting for the sacrifice DB’s grandfather made while living?

I was a bit slow to get this – it didn’t make sense until I realised the root word was “binge”, not “bing”. (was it some sort of anti-Google joke???)

Love it – this fits perfectly with the “Moderately confused” strip title

Heh, unnecessary until you encounter something supernatural of course. Then suddenly you find you need a new framework.

    Or this one:
When Mary had a little lamb, the doctors were surprised,
But when Old MacDonald had a farm, they couldn’t believe their eyes!

Mary had a little lamb, a little pork, a little ham.
Mary had a little lamb, and then she had some more.

Find a church where God has actually been invited to take charge instead of a church board and go there. Unfortunately they constitute only a tiny percentage of the Christian churches available in our western culture, but you can recognise these churches by the unusually friendly, loving, enthusiastically selfless members… oh, and the occasional healing. Just be prepared for the challenge to your belief system that comes from discovering that God IS real, he actually IS good, and he’s got plans for you to find out just how much he loves you.
