Yes indeed, the beginning of the end. But I have to say, the great strides made toward the buying of the government have come by and large from the GOP. Look at the makeup of SCOTUS, who finished driving the last nail in the coffin of America just recently. Look at the leanings of the 24 Billionaires who now run next years congress. Dunno what the tipping point is, but I do know we are closer than ever. Take a gaze at the history books, you can easily draw many parallels between 2015 America and 1915 Russia. If Americans had any sense at all, they would run all the Republicans out of government in the next election, just to make the attempt to move the pointer from the extreme right towards the center. Of course, with all the gerrymandering that has taken place in the last 10 years it would be almost impossible to vote them out.

I’ve heard a lot about the money / happiness thing….. I’m pretty sure I could make it work though.

A very good comment. I have a slightly different take on things. I relate to an administration based on how my personal and family quality of life is during the span of that administration. As a senior adult, and only looking at administrations I can relate to in regards to my adult life; I have experienced life under 9 administrations, 5 Republican, and 4 Democratic. I can honestly say that in EVERY case, my and my families quality of life has ALWAYS been better when there is a Democratic administration. The all time best was under President Clinton, but Obama is a good second, he most certainly tops the all time WORST which was Bush 2. Therefore, my voting process is like this, I vote for any Democrat, even a junk yard dog is better than electing a Republican, period. Always remember people, Reagan / Bush had 12 years to prove their “trickle down” theory, all they proved is that “trickle down” doesn’t. The rich ALWAYS want more, and they take it from the middle class and the poor, anyway they can get it.

Glad to see it’s staying up! Now if we could just convince Melissa and Ed to spend the rerun time and build up a follow on story line, then we could have new strips in 3 or 4 years…..

Oh now, there you go using logic, intelligence, and common sense. You know there are no red neck tea party morons that can even conceive of any of those things, let alone actually understand them.

You got it, the Roberts SCOTUS has gone too far to the right, it’s really time to change the makeup of congress, the Tea Party (American Taliban) has got to go while we still have a chance.
