    The artist in this strip has suddenly tried to draw the characters realistically. It doesn’t work because of the constant swapping between the old style and the new style.

    DuMont’s electronicam system was a 35 mm camera attached to the TV camera. It produced razor-sharp film. But all the CV electronicam films were destroyed, except for a very few remaining unedited negatives.

    Essentially all but a tiny handful of kinescopes of this 5-a-week series that ran from 1949 to 1955 were lost, or destroyed by the DuMont network. To find even one other kinescope would be an incredible discovery.
