    Back when I was a volunteer venue site manager, I met her several times when she sang at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee. Her dad was blind jazz musician, Bob Ringwald who was a regular at the festivals. I learned to stand beyond arm’s length from Bob so as not to get my boob grabbed when he reached out for a handshake.

    Wow…Sandra Dee is not what I would ever call a ‘Blonde Bombshell’! Wikipedia says: “She became known for her wholesome ingenue roles in such films as The Reluctant Debutante (as Rex Harrison’s daughter), Gidget, Imitation of Life, and A Summer Place. She later played Tammy in two Universal sequels to Tammy and the Bachelor.” And it further says: "One of the popular songs of the Broadway musical and 1978 movie Grease is “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” in which the rebellious Rizzo satirizes new girl Sandy’s clean-cut image, likened to Sandra Dee’s."
