Unfortunately, no Vinny for these playoffs. Some sort of medical problem. Hoping him a speedy and full recovery!

Well, you were quite a ways from ending up like “The Lockhorns” “Heathcliff” or “Love is” but I can understand. Like Bill Watterson, you know to quit while you’re ahead.
Thanks for all the great strips! When I first encountered your strip, the dialog was so brilliant I thought you might be Kyle Baker (that’s very high praise!) and you kept that brilliance thoughout.
    Good luck with the writing!

Stephan, I realize politics is an important part of your profession, but I think you can win the Reuben without having to pander to the powerful Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolanoconiosis Prevention Foundation. I’ll miss this strip.

As for your note about “strips from before the Civil Rights movement”—well, that’s part of the reason newspapers are dying. They pander to a readership that is retired, and that readership is dying off.

Unfortunately, not everyone learned from “Dune.” I cite “Battlefield Earth” and “Avatar: the Last Airbender” as examples.
