    More here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/23/spacecraft-new-horizons-one-year-pluto-video_n_5612858.html
    @nosirrom Of course it’s a minor mission; Pluto’s a minor planet.
    @Dee It’s a NASA mission, so it’s your taxpayer dollars at work here, instead of blowing stuff up on earth.

    The best known John Buck was the Hall of Fame sportscaster (Jack Buck), but the dates are wrong.

    Joe Buck was the stud in Midnight Cowboy.

    This is different than the usual Zen Pencils, but just as inspirational. (an earlier source is the fable of the donkey who starved to death between two piles of hay because he couldn’t choose).

    Make the best choices you can, and then move on!

    Or as the race drivers say, don’t drive in your mirrors.

    We certainly read this strip for the great writing, not the barely passable drawing, which makes Dilbert look like Vermeer.

    No, it’s not a rip off, because this is a standardized situation. The website ComicsIDontUnderstand even has a “synchronicity” tag for comics using similar gags on the same DAY. What’s remarkable is that we remember the C&H version so clearly so many years later.

    Here’s a direct link to the C&H strip I mentioned above on this GoComics site: http://www.gocomics.com/calvinandhobbes/1985/12/05#.U5dH4CimU1I
