    “Mister Rune” was the first story I had read that featured a certain character whom I won’t name here… He’d been in the strip several times in the past, but not when I lived in towns that had the strip.

    Folks, some of us are forgetting that comics run at different speeds than reality. In some the characters age at real time, others they age more slowly, Annie hasn’t aged much in over 70 years… It often takes a week to portray less than 1/2 hour of action. So, Tom and Amelia may have been there less than a month or two in comics time.
