Seriously, why do I need to both key in my number AND then give it to the person who answers the phone?

Maybe we should just let this one – slide.

    1. Change password every 90 days.
    2. Must have 2 upper case letters, 2 lower case letters, 2 numerals, 2 special characters (but not all special characters are used by all systems).
    3. Cannot be a word or contain a word from a dictionary.
    4. No consecutive numbers or letters (e.g. no BC or CB)
    5. Cannot use the same character more than twice.
    6. No repeating characters (e.g. no 22 or bb).
    7. Don’t write it down (yeah, right!)
These are all from my work. Had maybe half-dozen regularly used passwords and another half-dozen occassional passwords.
Oh, but to access my computer I used a physical card w/a magnetic strip and a 6-8 digit numeric code that NEVER changed.

Is this the phone’s IQ or the operator’s? For those smarter people, do they need smarter phones?
