I put off reading A Tale of Two Cities for years and when I finally did, it was one of the best books I ever read.

    Call me Ishmael….
Prince Raoden of Arelon awoke early one morning, completely unaware the he had been damned for all time….
There once was a boy named Eustance Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it…

I put off reading A Tale of Two Cities for years, figuring if it was a book that was required reading in high school, it was pretty bad. (our class had to read Moby Dick, Lord Jim, etc.) but after I ran out of the other Charles Dickens novels at the library, I finally read it, and it was one of the best books I ever read!!! (And I’ve read thousands)

OMG! Someone else besides me remembers the Inferior Five? The White Feather, Dumb Bunny, Awkwardman, The Blimp and Merryman, I believe! I was so young back then, I thought Dumb Bunny was SOOOOOOOOOOO hot! Ha ha ha!

Anybody remember Marvel’s Not Brand ECCH! ?

Ahhhh….. Much is now clear….. I understand what the concept is now… Just much too subtle for a 60 year old who just woke up….

The other thing is, when you dry yourself off, you are rubbing a bunch of dead skin cells off of your body, plus the germs and stuff that you didn’t scub off. Espcially if you’re a kid who isn’t real thorough about the washing process!!!

When I first started reading Luann, I wasn’t really into it, but after a month or so, I really started to enjoy it, now it’s one of my absolute favorites, right after Chickweed Lane. I guess after having 4 sisters, a daughter, 5 grand-daughters and 1 great-grand-daughter, I can relate to Luann’s situations! Gotta love Brad too!!! Thanks for re-running this!

In Ohio, the cyclists have the same rights as the motorists, and are bound by the same laws. They have the same rights, but even though you have the same rights, does it make any sense to be riding a flimsy piece of metal in 45 MPH traffic during rush hour traffic in the dark? Any conflict between a steel object and human flesh can only have one result. Ask my poor dead 11 year brother. It was NOT the motorist’s fault, but he’s still not with us. Cyclists, use some common sense!!! That’s what the bike trails are for!!! Same thing for joggers who like to run in the roads.
