    I could see Mr. Jonses point if every Olympics had someone who was winning their 22 GOLD medal. That is 4 more than anyone else’s TOTAL medal count (only 9 of theirs were gold – sounds funny saying “only 9”). Mr. Phelps deserves all the headlines and stories he is getting. I do have a problem with how other headlines/story lines are being written but I think that is lost in this toon.

    The state unemployment rate for November declined to 3.0 percent, according to the state Labor Market Information Center.
    That is the lowest since 2.9 percent in June 2008.
    November employment statewide rose to 441,010 jobs, a modern record. That was about 8,000 more than the high point prior to the recession.
