I am actually kind of surprised that Tiffany would have ever seen Barbarella….

@Chuck374 It really isn’t his place to out people. I don’t think he did anything wrong. Chances are anyway that the way Luann was behaving, she might not have believed him anyway.

Who gets married on a Sunday? I have literally never met anyone who didn’t get married on a Friday or Saturday.

I like how you ask that as if I have never done it. The point was, it’s not necessary to dress up for Church because God doesn’t care what you’re wearing. Remember, he spoke to Adam and Eve and loved them above all other living creatures when they wore nothing at all.

I always thought getting dressed up for Church was silly anyway. People used to tell me “It’s to show respect to God” and I always replied “God was never more disappointed in humanity than he was the day humanity discovered they were naked.”

Unless in the prudish world of Greg Evans, those two are getting married without having done the deed yet…

Haven’t they been together well over a year, if not almost two years, at this point? I’d say they’re more than ready.

Last I checked, Luann was 18 and didn’t need her parents’ permission to go on a trip to New York.

So the thing about the rising sea levels that continues to confuse me is this:

You have a glass of any liquid. You add ice to it and the level rises to the lip of the glass, because of the added ice. Now, as that ice melts, you know what doesn’t happen? Overflow. Because the “water” level remains the same.

Now, I would figure the same principle is true of glacial ice. If all the ice in Antarctica and Greenland melted, about the only places that I would expect to be underwater are Antarctica and Greenland, since they essentially already are.

At what point am I missing where buoyancy in a glass of water is not the same as “buoyancy” of continents?

Anyone who didn’t see that coming hasn’t been noticing the obvious turns the stories in this strip have been taking lately..
