    It’s not “may be used against you;” it’s “can and will be used against you.” If the suspect is lead to believe he has wiggle room, the court will toss his incriminating statement. There’s more to this cop business than meets the eye.

    He’s reading Catch-22, one of the greatest books of all time, but even better read while serving in the military.

    But behind Catch-22 is Penn and Teller’s great book; growing up with a mind influenced by Penn, Heller and Teller, he’s going to be a force to reckon with.

    Shel Silverstein – poet, song writer, cartoonist, contributor to Playboy and the New Yorker (among others), author of children’s books and adult books, and it was hard to tell which was which. A philosopher. A smiling scraggly curmudgeon for the ages.

    I’m not sure I can explain, but in my collection of favorite people in my lifetime, I see him as a sort of Edward Abbey of the indoors.

    I’ve been in the Detective office when it looked exactly like that. Stressful times – but lots of fun, looking back.
