I knew what it was, Jennifer! Maybe it helps if one has previously read the 10/13 strip.

Pab, I’ve been reading the strip for years and may have just found your first typo! But it’s an understandable one… “Dihydrogren”

I think The Sugarhill Gang was more than three guys. Run DMC?

Hey everyone — whatever music you love, at the time it first came out it almost certainly resulted in mass contempt from elders!

I don’t know what stations T. listens to, but while there are more bleeped swears on the radio now, there were more actual swears back in the day. Lots of classic rock songs with words like sh*t were played that way for many years, and then more recently censored! (Because obviously if your kid learns that word, he will go to hell.)

My wife and I had a very similar conversation about Calista Flockheart recently. Calista’s had fairly regular work, it turns out…

“In a democracy, people get the government they deserve.”

Since I submitted this cull, I shall respond to the charge of “faulty logic”: If you don’t like the candidates available to choose from, and you didn’t vote in the primaries, you have no right to complain. If you voted in the primary (or there was none), but don’t like the candidates that made it to the general, remember they are rarely indistinguishable. It is your responsibility in a democracy to do your due diligence and choose the less objectionable of the two “evils”. If you do NOT, your vote may have changed the outcome, so you have lost your right to complain about the winner, in my opinion. He or she only represents those interests who vote (and of course contribute), so it’s the apathetic “neithers” who skew the officeholders against themselves!

We have a chocolate Lab mix, and can attest that he has on rare occasions bitten his nails!
