Ho Chi Minh went to the US military command in SE Asia near the end of WWII. The Japanese had retreated from SEA, and the French were starting to move back in, wanting to resume colonial control of VN.

Ho asked the US to prevent the French from coming back in. He was laughed out of the room.

So the French went back in, and the war began. There was never two VN, that was a fiction. The French were defeated at Dien Bien Phu in 1954. As they retreated from VN, they told the US to stay out. We all know what happened next. US egotism and lies resulted in the death of thousands of US troops and many thousands more VN.

VN never had an expansionist intent.

Er, ha ha, we all thought the flip side was a guy… didn’t we?

Well, well, Mr Box, I suppose this means you think you can do better? Grab a pen and show us.

Meanwhile, relax and enjoy, or split, but don’t entertain the idea that the rest of us give a fig for your negative stuff. Just don’t care what you think, unless you come up with something humorous or creative.

Hm, the hourglass twins are walking out – looking disgruntled?

How does the hands/feet twin guy know when and where to walk? Telepathy?

Interesting hints about the mayor enjoying all the versions of the hourglass pair. Lets have more of this? After all, the lesbian focus of Jane’s World makes me think this strip is going further afield from the straight “norm”.

And how did the mayor get so bad? Maybe he can begin to recast himself as a more human and empathetic person? Or will he cling to his narrow power lust and get trashed by the twins?

When do we get to see the guy have a say?

    How old are you, too-zonked?

You ever hear of “dialing” a number, and wonder what that means?

I was looking through the comments to see if anyone was “gun literate”. Zilch until I found you. Roulette with a semi-auto = suicide. Roulette with a revolver is just toying with stupidity and suicide, and has to be the dumbest idea anybody ever had.

Do you know consciously that you are lying, or are you totally duped?

You deniers are amazing. Sort of like finding a living tyrannosaurus.

You forgot the preservatives, and if you are really lucky you get aspartame or some other bogus sweetener/poison.

White flour, white rice, and a few minuscule dollops of artificial vitamins for “enrichment”.

AND, just possibly the worst ingredient of all, hydrogenated and/or partially hydrogenated oil – as in Margarine, the most ridiculous scam ever perpetrated on the food chain. Since cottonseed oil is not good nutritionally, and comes heavily laced with pesticides and herbicides from the cotton crop, the absolute pits of “industrial-waste food” is Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil.

You eat margarine, or cookies, or cereals, or “bread” (as in bleached white flour and chemicals “bread”)??? Check the ingredient list. You will be surprised at how often “hydrogenated cottonseed oil” appears.

Its virtue for the Manufacturers? Cheap, cheap cheap, and it NEVER rots or spoils. How could it? Nothing can digest it.

2old, same boat, same age. We are the last of the few who know what it was like to live on Earth when it wasn’t overpopulated. Was nice. in the late 40’s and early 50’s we could drive an hour or so out of most cities, and we would be in nature, park the car and walk off the road, camp, nobody would complain, ask for a permit, just us and nature.

Did it a lot. Grew up with nature. Most kids now have no idea. So many people have no actual connection to nature.

So some of the remote spaces and funkiness of this view of “Mars” seem familiar and attractive.

(I am amused by the ones commenting who are offended by the untrammeled goofiness of this strip. Hey folks, it’s fun. Could you think it up any better? Grab a pen and get to work. And don’t forget to embed some good social commentary with the humor – if you actually have a sense of humor, that is.)

And this lady has great tits and a wonderful expression.
