    Of course they always teach swimming lessons early in the morning when the pool and lifeguards are not busy. . because the water is too cold for the relative air temp. I taught lessons in the AM in the early 70’s (and took lessons in the 60’s) and I sure didn’t want to go in the cold water either time. Obviously not an ideal atmosphere for learning anything. Later in ‘77ish when I earned my Water Safety Instructor certification they at least recognized that cold water and learning don’t work well together.

    There was a comic strip I saw where aliens had beamed up/ abducted a millinnial who had no idea anything had happened because he was still staring at his phone.
    Pretty much says it all: going through life clueless about what is actually going on around them in the real world.

    Half a dozen of the comics printed in the Kingsport Times-News on 4/27 made reference to the 100th Anniversary. Most were only published in the KTN and normal strips posted in all the other newspapers. Pooch Cafe obviously posted in ALL papers!
