Aaron you are the Man!!! I love your stuff. You know how to really hook people in and then hit them hard. I think you need to pitch an idea for the Zootopia sequel to Disney. Something along the lines of Zootopia 2: It Came From Endtown!

I have to agree with you on this one. It seems the male anthros don’t wear shoes; but most of the females do.

It could be the release of adrenaline into the system when they begin to feel the transformation occurring. The fight or flight response could cause a critical alteration of body chemistry that results in chaotic transformations. While a person a sleep or under the influence of a mind altering substance would not experience such a change in body chemistry.

Actually I meant that the Holly we see in Hillside doesn’t seem like a very nice person. She seems shallow and superficial. The Holly we meet in Endtown seems a lot nicer. Doc Chase was concerned about Holly getting involved with Wally because of what she had been through and feared that Wally might revive in Holly the pain of her past. Holly has evolved from the person she was in Hillside to the person she is today. During the Milk trial she lost the control she had over the pain of her past. Such behavior is not uncommon. It happens to a lot of people today.

We need to remember that Holly has experienced several extremely stressful events. She was involved in a car crash, an encounter with a former neighbor (now a talking serpent who almost scared her to death), the death of her former neighbor and her neighbor’s husband (by the buddibombs she was carrying in her purse), and her consumption of vitamin V (aka Vodka). I may not be a doctor; but I am sure that these things had a major part to play with the child not surviving.

The Holly we were introduced to (in Endtown) is not the same Holly that lived in Hillside and was married to Lyn. Our Holly (Endtown) is a sweet, caring, selfless woman who tries to help others whenever she can. Holly has changed considerably from her life in Hillside.

Lets not forget that Holly was place on trial (unfairly) in Endtown and saw her community fall apart (just like she experienced in Hillside). She lost many friends during the recent events in Endtown. Holly may be carrying guilt about the death of her neighbor and her neighbor’s husband as well as the death of her child.

Lyn may be angry at all mutants; because he blames them for the loss of his wife and child. He may be looking at Wally as a way to blame all mutants for what has happened to him

I don’t think Holly would have harmed her child.
I think panel 4 is just showing Holly staring at her reflection in the water. She is a little dazed.
It could also be that her child mutated into a duck or an aquatic creature. In Endtown some of the inhabitants were aquatics such as Benny (the crab) and the mayor’s fish friend.

Doctor Chase, Holly’s step father, was transformed into a badger which best fits his somewhat grouchy disposition.
Also, it is possible that Lyn is on the ship and is angry at Wally for taking Holly away from him.

    You mean Doc Badger.

If the ship is the Edmund Fitzgerald; then they’re in the middle of what used to be Lake Superior. Which places them in the North Midwest of the United States.

It could be possible that this whole scenario is really a creation of Lyn himself. He could still be alive and wants Holly back. We really don’t know who is in charge of the dittos or the mutts or the transporters or the air drones. Something or someone was and is controlling them. So it could be that Lyn is trying to show why he has the greater claim on Holly than Wally.
