My take is that to be a religion, it must have the 3 "C"s
A Creed, a shared set of core beliefs of a spiritual nature constant to all adherents,
A Code, a shared set of rules governing the lives in service to the spiritual focus of the adherents,
A Cult, a shared set of activities and rituals honoring the spiritual focus that the adherents participate in such as going to worship on sunday, praying at certain times each day abstaining from food or just meat on certain days.

in a basic cult, the focus is upon a totally human leader without a greater spiritual foundation to elevate it to religion.

What we have come down to is that it is never “Our Guy” that is the problem, it is all the “stupid people voting for the other guys” that are the problem.
We have been successfully divided, and are now ready to be conquered.

The next 4 years will certainly test the limits and constraints of our Constitution and the checks and balances that the founders created to maintain governmental stability.

However, I fear that there are a lot of very powerful people that want to see everything go to hell so this whole pesky Constitutional Republic annoyance can be replaced by a power structure of their making.

Clinton’s supporters insist she is winning fair and square while Sanders’ supporters claim the fix was in and they have been cheated. Somewhere in there lies the truth but in politics the truth holds little value to most people. It certainly is of no use to the news media any longer as they are in the entertainment business in order to sell Pfizer’s goodies. Both parties have developed serious schisms and the world may never be the same.

Politics is the art of making the truth tell lies in your favor.
