It’s a sad commentary on our culture and society that so many people seem to like this. I know I’ll catch a lot of flac for saying that, but somebody has to say it. OK, let the bashing begin, but remember, don’t let your ignorance show by using foul language. Ready, set, go!

And he also played “Doc” Golightly, former husband of Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn), in Breakfast at Tiffanys. He was actually a good actor.

OK, I have to say something since it appears no one else has noticed. The picture is also the face of Jesus. The bowed heads of Mary and Joseph are His eyes. The shading (or whatever it is) over the manger is His mustache. The clothes around Baby Jesus is His mouth and the manger itself is His “soul patch.” Squint a little bit and it’s easier to see. Anyway, Merry Christmas to all and may all come to a knowledge of the Truth.

First of all, kevin78661, I see you’re using the old tack of blaming God for the evil that men do. Yes, He could keep all of us from doing any evil, but then wouldn’t that take away our free will? I’m sure you’d be the first to have a fit over Him doing that. Anyway, my real comment is just to quote the Randy Stonehill song, “The Gods of Men”:
" I used to dream of being a hero,
Yeah, I told myself I’d never fall down.
But I couldn’t take the strain and Jesus is the name
Of the only hero I’ve ever found."

Thank you, Giancarlo, for setting the record straight—it was Gregory Peck and not Cary Grant. Roman Holiday is in my top 10 favorite movies and it’s nice to see it referenced here. By the way, the only movie Audrey and Cary ever made together was Charade, another good flic.

Wow, another classic movie fan. You know, mrbribery, I’m probably the only other person who reads this strip who will get your joke. I’m glad that didn’t stop you—I liked it :-)

She should have said,“Remind me not to do do that again.”
