Amazing how one panel can invoke sympathy and sadness. I agree… God bless you, Sam Katchem.

I never thought I’d see the day when a proper Tracy/Annie team-up would exist. I am SO loving this!

Good morning, VistaBill! And thanks, Pequod! I was so looking forward to Punjab using that scimitar WHOOSH! Problem solved.

No complaints here at all, cpalmeresq. I agree with everyone; we should have guessed that the location was a fictitious one. However, kudos to those who figured that the letter had the coordinates to Annie’s location. Still reading, still waiting for the next leg in the journey.

I think it’s a testament to Mike and Joe’s job on the strip that we’re spotting clues and debating about them. If this was done under Locher’s reign, I got a feeling it would be greeted with a collective “meh.” And now, so many Junior Crimestoppers are champing at the bit to help find Annie. Great job, Team Tracy!

I read your comment yesterday about Washington Island. I had to check the Sunday strip to see that vintage Washington stamp. Good going spotting that clue :)

I worked for an internet company that serviced Washington Island. Very nice place up there, from what I’ve heard from our customers. I really hope that’s the place, after all. Great deduction about the stamp, if that’s the case.

I just re-checked the latitude and longitude listed in the letter (whew, a bit of alliteration there). 45 N by 87 W lands around Bailey’s Harbor, WI. Using the site findlatitudeandlongitude.com , it actually provided an address: 7949 Ridges Road, Baileys Harbor, WI. I wonder if there’s a philatelist in the vicinity….
