    I had never heard that slang. Hope to never see pictures of them again (nor the real thing for that matter!).

    It is pretty funny that the only successful policies of President Obama is when he continued or expanded on President Bush’s policies.

    As for the 8 years, do you mean when the American economy was experiencing 4.5% unemployment until the crash of Fannie Mae caused the financial crisis? The same Fannie Mae that Chris Dodd and the Democrats protected and would not allow Congress to rein in?

    @Ian Rey. First off, thank you for mentioning the photos. I thought the toon was about President Obama getting his justice department to drop the voter intimation case against the Black Panthers. I didn’t realize he was actually photographed marching with them! Unbelievable. By the way, your argument that he wasn’t really associating with them doesn’t hold water when up on further research (again, thanks for turning me onto this latest scandal for this administration), he actually shared the podium (i.e. gave a talk after the black panther) with them. And he also had the leader of the Black Panters (Malik Shabazz) at the white house.

    I consider Anwar a traitor and fighting for the enemy so dispatching him is no different than killing an American citizen who decided to fight with the Japanese during WWII.

    The reason I like the toon is the two facedness of Obama. We can’t interrogate, but we can kill. Osama, now Anwar. But don’t you dare scare that terrorist with simulated drowning or slapping him. lol

    @kreole. Genetics?

    Anyhow, he should stay out of the race. He has publicly stated that he is not ready to be president. Besides being used against him if he does run, I happen to agree with him. Let the current field sort itself out. As long as the repubs do not put a right wing nut up for the election, it should be a landslide. Currently, we might have the worst president ever (my apologies to President Carter).

    @eepatt. two things. I never said I was a global climate change denier. I just happened to point out that we were worried about global cooling 40 years ago.

    Second, your comparison between Obama’s quote and the smoker. Since it is most likely the smoker’s fault that he got cancer, are you saying it is Gov Perry’s fault his state has wildfires? I thought you were blaming global warming for the wildfires. I’m sorry, we can no longer call it global warming because the science doesn’t back that up. We need to call it climate change. And yes I do believe the climate changes. I’m just not sure how much man has to do with it.
