I’m trying to figure out how bad Trump has to get before the never-HRC crowd takes a serious look at Gary Johnson.

I would argue the endeavor is a waste of Lio’s time …

They get it for Mom, and Mom (1) not wanting to ruin her figure and (2) being Mom, lets them eat it.

Actually, I submit that Dad has more of a “oh, brother, not again” look about him. Just another day in his life as Lio’s dad …

I work for a home healthcare company and specialize in addressing the billing/claims side of our business, specifically working with Medicare. I actually tell new employees to watch (or read) “Catch-22” to give them the idea of the kind of mindset they’ll be dealing with when working with Medicare.

“He would say to me once in a while, … you know what I need?” And I would get excited because it was hard to buy him a present.

    I said, “No, what?”

“You know what I really need?”

    “No, what Mike?”

“Absolutely nothing. I don’t need a thing in the world. I am the happiest man on the face of the earth.” And then he would go on for ten minutes, telling me how blessed he felt. “I have beautiful sisters. I have nieces and nephews. I have my health. I’m a Franciscan priest. I love my work. I love my ministry.” And he would go on, and always conclude by looking up to heaven and saying, “Why am I so blessed? I don’t deserve it. Why am I so blessed?” But that’s how he felt all his life.

I used to know the chaplain for the fire department in Warwick, RI. He once described his ministry thusly:

“These are guys who are paid nowhere near enough money to run into a building that everything, including the cockroaches, is running out of. Because that’s the job.”
