This anti-girl cultural mindset is always something that’s filled me with a mixture of revulsion and sadness.

Right? This is the closest he ever came to actually insulting her personally, and it burns.

I continue to be baffled at how a smart person like Stantis can keep beating the dead horse of this Hunny Bunny caricature. It’s so transparently silly. The real-life person of Hillary Clinton does not remotely act like this. It’s utter projection.

We get it. You’re not on this strip’s wavelength. Your comments all over the place make that abundantly clear. So skedaddle.

I can’t believe Stantis is STILL pushing this “sick” nonsense. I don’t like his politics but he’s no cretin. And this “sick” narrative is downright cretinous.

You’re better than this, Stantis. Come on.

This kind of thing is the ultimate in Schulzian humor.

    Christ, this is ridiculous.

Stantis, I know you’re smarter than this.

This completely falls flat as a caricature of Kaine. Slavish, brainless worshipful loyalty doesn’t correspond to anything about the genuine Kaine. It’s just lazy.

Of course, Hunny Bunny fails as a Clinton caricature because she doesn’t correspond to anything about the real Clinton, either. Hunny Bunny is a caricature of what some people think Clinton is, rather than what’s actually there in front of them. An egotistical megalomaniac who calls other people “minions” and expects people to worship her every word is funny and all that, but it has nothing to do with Clinton.

If Hunny Bunny was merely depicted as a stiff, straightlaced policy wonk who had no idea how to communicate with crowds and hated public speaking because she hated having to pretend to enjoy it, that would correspond to the Clinton who actually exists.
