    True will join the cheerleaders…

I remember joining the whole town, turning out to greet the Meade County football team, including the fire trucks, when they won region. State was far beyond their reach but for one night, the entire county joined in the celebration!

ONE IN A ROW!!! Guys, someone said Milford has never won the championship before. Was that correct? No flag on the play? The way their luck has gone before makes me wonder if the writer meant, “State Champs” or not.

What if it is a flea flicker, with True catching Jarrod’s pass for the winning TD??

OK, so Jarrod steps in. What will be more interesting for the readers? Failure or success? I vote for success but then Jarrod learns not to be a jerk and he credits True for bringing the team back. There is no “I” in “Team” ….but there is a “ME!” ;) Hopefully, Jarrod forgets the “me” as well.

Milford has NEVER won state before??? I know it’s been decades…but never? Is that right, guys?

I might have beat you to that prediction…a couple of weeks ago ;)

Huh??? A run-based offense has trouble in the rain? The writers got that one backwards…again.

It rains differently in the Milford Universe. The rain goes UP. ;)

Pascoe the Enforcer! …but was a penalty called? Hands to the head/helmet for sure. It’s issues like this that make me wonder about the sport background of the writers/illustrators over the years.
